Day #84

I went to a dancing performance and then DJs. I tucked the paper down my pants, and the pencil up the leg of my leggins, and I sketched the show in the semi-darkness of the Palace.

Day #71

Swing dancing: Much too fast to draw. Very fun to dance.

Day #67

So Nicole! I did keep erasing and redrawing this but it was not capturing you, however I thought you'd like to see my attempt. The one I did with my toes I swear will give you nightmares!

I also drew these which I forgot about. These are being at the computer. Blergh!

Day #61

This is a clay figure that Dale made when he
was a kid. The teacher said "What's that Dale?"
And he said "It's me!"

Day #54

So on my way home tonight I stopped and had a cider and drew these people.

And here's Fletcher's legs...
(it's all I could draw)

Day #44.

I thought I did tonight like sherry tonight! Hope these turned out OK considering I'm still several sherrys down! And who drinks sherry anyway?

Dazzle worries about his televisions.
And meanwhile, my chillis are growing from seeds!

Day #41. Hrm...

Day #38. Robin riding past.

... from memory.

What can I manage but scribbles when I'm swimming, walking, drinking wine and eating tortilla soup on a long weekend... who has time for a proper drawing?!

Day #36

This is Dad when he's concentrating on what someone is saying. Not to be mistaken for sleeping.

Day #35

Drawing on the phone on a packed train.
I offered this kid some chips and he said 'OK!' The other guy who said 'No thanks' wished he said OK too, but he was being polite.

Day #31. Twin Peaks

There are only two words that describe why I left my drawing until too late again:

Twin Peaks...

I'm in the world already. This series will sweep me away. Sooo excellent!

Day #27: Amish?

So I think it's my glasses, but everything I try on STILL makes me look like I'm at the office... even the gold, skin-tight sequined disco outfit and heels...

And this must be the Amish outfit.

Day #24

It's like 3pm these last few days: both drawing-wise and just living-wise. You're OK in the morning, amazing in the evening... but at 3pm if there was a bed right there you'd be inhabiting it! The day 20's feel like 3pm to me.

2 weeks of drawings! Day #14.

1 or 2 minute sketches I did on the train. Really fast ones. Mostly because the people I drew got uncomfortable. Also because I gotta practice drawing really fast too. That's what Ricky said and he's correct.

1 minute goes really fast. I stopped when they saw me draw, then when they looked away I draw the rest of their body! This is sneaky. But then, drawing someone without their knowing is really fun. Drawing them for a minute is like observing them for 10 minutes.
